This is to inform you that our CPPI Mid-year Conference is scheduled on June 26, 2011, Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Quezon City Sports Club, E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave., Quezon City. Attached herewith is the program and details of the conference for your reference.

We urge you to attend this event so that we will be able to discuss with you the important areas and programs that we are currently addressing and issues that we are focusing-on for the benefit of the pawnbroking business, particularly:

PAWNBROKER OF THE YEAR

THE SEARCH FOR PAWNBROKER OF THE YEAR aims to recognize YOUR efforts in improving the conditions of YOUR community; emphasize your accomplishments; and highlight your contribution to the Pawnshop Industry and the country.

The Award hopes to inspire more pawnbrokers to be more involved in finding solutions and to challenge status quo through the services and/or activities that they render to the community which they belong.

A community-involved pawnbroker, makes a difference in the lives of the people they serve and in the cause they espouse. The Award also encourages pawnbrokers to uplift the image of the pawnshop industry. It aims to become a venue where each and everyone can share their experiences and practices in CSR.

The deadline for submitting nominations for the 2010-2011 PAWNBROKER OF THE YEAR AWARD is October 30, 2010.

The Pawnbroker of the Year Award is given to an outstanding PAWNBROKER whose work involves them with the quality service rendered by their establishment and who contributes substantially to the improvement of their community.

The PAWNBROKER OF THE YEAR AWARD will be presented at the CPPI NATIONAL CONVENTION & ELECTION ON December 5, 2010.
